Sunco is implementing SAP R/3 release 4.6C and at that occasion introduced SAP's RF solution in its warehouses. The warehouse information/product flows were revisited and the concept of SUM (Storage Unit Management) was introduced for pallet label scanning. The result is a warehouse that operates very efficiently using dedicated RF transactions. Sunco uses the SAPConsole's synchronous interface. The software reconfiguration and the installation is realised as a subproject of the overall SAP implementation scheme.
